Rate on 30 year mortgage 3.88 percent!
Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 4:17PM The average rate on the 30-year fixed mortgage fell again this week to a record low.
Mortgage buyer Freddie Mac said Thursday that the average rate on the 30-year fixed mortgage dipped to 3.88 percent this week.
The average on the 15-year fixed mortgage moved up to 3.17 percent from 3.16 percent.
For the five-year adjustable loan, the average rate was unchanged at 2.82 percent. The average on the one-year adjustable loan fell to 2.74 percent from 2.76 percent.
The average fee on the five-year adjustable loan rose was unchanged at 0.7; the average on the one-year adjustable-rate loan was unchanged at 0.6.
